Finding new flatmates

By ELeyshon 04 Sep 2019

Living in Uni residences or student housing involves sharing facilities with other students and making new friends...

There will be an inevitable amount of nerves. Pointers to remember are:

1) Everyone's in the same boat! Open your door and knock your next door neighbour's door to start making conversation when you first arrive.

2) You can't be everyone's best friend but a bit of investment in new friendships might be all it takes to break down barriers and begin  a life-long friendship.

3) Friends bring health benefits: people who chat to friends experience less stress!

The video is a little extreme but the usual tolerance, respect and understanding apply with flatmates as this can often pave the way to good relationships and quite often friendships!
