Converge 2019: How to apply

We are pleased to welcome Converge Challenge to deliver a workshop on How to apply for Converge 2019. The competition will open on the 14 March 2019 and close on the 25 April.

Converge Challenge is the leading pan-Scotland company creation competition and entrepreneurship development programme for staff, students, and recent graduates of Scottish Universities and Research Institutes aimed at creating a new generation of entrepreneurs in Scotland through a £200k+ prize fund made up of cash and in-kind support.

Converge brings together the most ambitious and creative thinkers from academia, research & business. The Converge team work with ALL industry sectors, products and service-based ideas at any stage of the development.

The competition categories include:

  • Converge Challenge for established, innovative ideas with strong commercial potential

  • Impact Challenge for projects with environmental or social aims

  • Creative Challenge designed specifically for innovative projects in the creative sector

QMU has had considerable success in these competitions and we are keen to build on this Last year Health Design Collective were runners up in the Social enterprise (Impact challenge) category.

This workshop is for anyone who is considering applying to Converge Challenge and would like to find out more about the competition, as well as internal support available to help you with your application. So if you’re interested in entering, it is worth coming along to this session and find out more about the competition and how QMU can help you enter.
